A Party With No Music, And An Interesting Topic Of Discussion

Well, today was rather uneventful, apart from the fact that I had a rather tedious project to do about Genghis Khan, but other than that my day was rather enjoyable.

I woke up around 1:00, and I had to do that ridiculous project, and that occupied my time until around 5:00. I am finished with my project(thankfully), so now I don't have anything to procrasinate with! I am quite literally bursting with joy. Or it could be that ton of nachos I ate at that party.

The party.

Ah yes. Absoloutely interesting. It wasn't a PARTY, really, more like a gathering with a bunch of kids. It wasn't without entertainment, however. Playing cards and discussing college is a WONDERFUL way to spend the evening, or night.

Most of the people there were either complete adults, little kids, or ranging from 7-College aged people. So, of course, a natural topic would be the discussion about school.

Now, let me tell you about MY social ranking. I say this now. I have no real friends. Yes, I have people that are WONDERFUL to hang out with at school, but honestly, they have their own friends. I am basically a pillow. I' good enough to hug and cry on, and to get advice from, but now good enough to be your constant companion.

I basically zoned out of this conversation, but I did pick up some complaints about middle school and about how they absolutely hated Sophomore year and all that, pretty boring really.

Well, it's about One 'O Clock, and I better get to sleep before I start seeing purple mushrooms.

I take leave of you all, and please follow my blog!

24 Hours Without Sleep

Well, it has been nearly 24 hours since I have had sleep, and apparently SunnyD thinks I need to go sleep for the next 12 hours.

I, however, think otherwise. My idea of 'catching up on sleep' is thinking up of new topics for my blog!! :D

Yeah. But right now, I'm listening to "Too Little Too Late" By Jojo. She's a great singer, I really love that ONE song of hers >.<

Okay, so I have to watch this movie called MONGOL, about Genghis Khan, and do FIVE journal entries from his perspective. That's going to absolutely FUN, isn't it? Yeah. And they have to be "realistic", and that means I get to play with fire! Watch out SunnyD, it's not only the GUYS you meet at parties that normally turn out to be pyros....:)

Yeahh, so I've been trying to get ahold of this guy(You know who, Kelpo and SunnyD!), and he hasn't been answering his phone. I must've called like 15 times today(Can you say stalker?), and I STILL haven't talked to him. Maybe he's avoiding me?(Ya think?)

Right, I think I might ACTUALLY go to sleep at a normal time, and save my journal entry for tomorrow. OR I might just keep on blogging, talking about random stuff and all that.

Well, either way, I'll catch all of my almost-nonexistant readers (This is for you, SunnyD and Raro) later.

Boredom Leads To Interesting Posts About Nothing.

Right.

I have come back from my rather interesting sleepover with Kelpo and SunnyD(I just met this girl, can you say awesome?), and I have yet to fall asleep. I know, strange, right? I spent the majority of my time awake last night, rather this morning, working on my blog post about the Warriors series by erin Hunter, as well as working on the blog post that I have already posted.

I also spent some time meditating, which I, personally, find to be rather relaxing. It gives you a certain feeling while meditating, and is most certainly advisable when you are at a sleepover, and everyone else is asleep.

Upon returning home, I discovered a VERY unpleasant surprise. 20 dollars of mine is missing. I am extremely unhappy about this. Wouldn't you be too?

I might be getting a new camera (Happiness!), and therefore some of my pictures I take of nature may be put up. I am EXTREMELY happy about THIS, mostly because I love taking photos, as Kelpo and SunnyD know(not really).

Now my stomach has a distinct ache, and I think it's from not eating anything(Ohmygod! I lost 3 pounds!), BUT, being me, I'm too lazy to go eat anything. So I THINK I'm going to sit here typing, my stomach hurting, until my mother calls me and tells me it's time to go somewhere or it's time for lunch or something.

Oh look! She's calling me now! Guess I have to go!

Warriors: The Series (Background Information)

Hey guys!

I DID say that I wouldn't keep this blog SOLELY for book reviews, but I feel that my opinions on the books I read should be included in my journal, don't ya think?

Well, the book(or series rather) that I intend to share my opinions about is the Warriors Series by Erin Hunter.

But FIRST, here is background information. I'll post my opinions about the 1st series in another post.

Warriors is about these cats in the wild that have divided up into four groups, called clans. Each clan has a territory that they live on, and are almost always fighting about borders and hunting rights and such. These 4 clans all believe in one huge clan, called Starclan.

Starclan is basically the clan where all the dead cats go, as spirits. The cats believe that Starclan live in the sky, and each star at night represents a fallen warrior.

There are 4 clans, called Thunderclan, Riverclan, Windclan, and Shadowclan. Thunderclan are the strong and noble, Riverclan are quick and clever, Windclan are swift, and Shadowclan are dark and sneaky.

In these clans, there are certain positions a cat may have. The highest is leader, and the leader has nine lives. Second in command is the deputy, who arranges patrols and hunting parties, who also would take over and receive nine lives when the old leader dies. Then there are warriors, who can be girls or boys, who hunt for and protect the clan. When a female cat is pregnant, she would become a queen, and move into the nursery until her kits are born, and stay there until the become apprentices. Apprentices train to become warriors, as well as hunt for the elders, and clean out the bedding(which is basically moss). The elders are retired warriors, but can also be retired deputies or leaders who have decided that they are too old to continue leading their clan properly. Elders are generally the most respected, and the best looked after, second only to the nursing queens.

These Warriors live by a code, that depicts how they should live their life. Some examples of these "rules" would be that a warrior cannot take a mate from another clan, warriors must hunt on their OWN territory, an apprentice/warrior must not eat before their clan is fed, etc. When a cat breaks these rules, the leader will decide how to punish them, and the punishment is almost always suited to match the crime.

New Years Day With Kelpo And SunnyD!

Well. LOTS happened today...

Right. Soo, I woke up. Remembered I had Kelpo's party to go to. Turns out, some random people my mom knows decided to come over with their kids, who range from being in 4th grade to being in 7th grade. And guess who had to entertain them? That's right! ME.

After that, around like, 2 (the time Kelpo's par-tay started) my mom and I actually LEFT the house to go to the party. Yup. I'm NEVER anywhere on time really.

So. Kelp's party really wasn't HER party, it was her mom's. Her mom just said that she could invite some people over. When I got there, there was this pothead who was in our German (Who knew potheads liked German? ), and other people. kinda strange when you think about it really. I had NO idea who was gonna be there, but I'm STILL having the time of my life.

There were people, some that I knew, some that I met, (Like SunnyD, but more about THAT later) but really the party was nothing but fun.

I met Kelpo's brother, can you say moody much? Reminds me of MY brother, except my brother actually BOTHERED to talk to MY friends when they came over. Guess I kinda freaked him out though, I do that to everyone, don't I?

Right. The people I met at the party. SunnyD was one, and then there was Beagle, amd Red-Head. They both have the same names, so I made up nicknames! There was also Bourne (That's a nickname too btw). We played Poker for a while (Texas Hold Em and Five Card Draw, Note to self, don't intend on actually PLAYING poker. Epic Fail in the making.) then we kind of got bored of it so we decided to go out and play tag. I was being stupid, and I had worn my ridiculous pair of heels that I can't run in, so I had to borrow shoes from Kelpo. After tag, we decided to go and play on her trampoline, BUUUTTT we had to get off cuz a little girl wanted to jump, and the pothead was doing some CRAZY stuff that probably could have gotten all of us nearly killed/majorly hurt (We're talking some serious bone breakage here).

After this we decided to go play foosball, but a few of our number, such as Beagle and Red-Head left. After Foosball, Bourne and Pothead left as well. So it was only Me, Kelpo, and SunnyD.

After a LONG time, with MANY musings about what to do, Kelpo's mother brought up the idea of a sleepover. I quickly took it up, and called my mother.

She was reluctant, but she agreed to allow me to spend the night at Kelpo's house, and told me that she would bring my night clothes and my retainer as well as other toiletries. Fortunately SunnyD's mother agreed as well.

So while waiting for my mother to arrive with the things (this is after I had called her aaround 9:30), I was conversing with Kelpo's father, SunnyD, Kelpo, and SunnyD's mother about the hindu culture(I'm Hindu by the way). We were actually discussing the topic of arranged marriages, and SunnyD inquired quite incredulously about why, even in this day and age, Hindus had arranged marriages. I won't go into that now, but believe me, it sure is a story that is best saved for a rainy day.

After our mothers came and went, Kelpo, SunnyD, and I all went and took pictures of ourselves in various modeling poses. We then posted these pictures on a very popular site that most students (whether in College or High School) interact with each other over the web. After loading/editing these(Trust me, that took a LONG time), SunnyD showed me her blog, which is actually quite interesting. I then decided to restart my old blog, and cleared it out completely, and instead of turning it into a book review center, I have turned it into a cyberspace journal.

I feel that this will be good for me, and rather entertaining for anyone else chancing upon this blog and deciding to actually read the rather boring and mundane things I may write.

Well, I fear I must take your leave, not because I am tired, but simply because there is no more to write.

Farewell!
And Happy New Years!
